Don´t have much time to comment the acquisition of Bowstreet. But I remember talking to Ambuj Gojal at the dinner at DNUG in Hannover. While talking about the missing tools to transfer Domino apps easily into the new portal world, Ambuj asked me: „What do you think we should do with Bowstreet?“. My answer was: „Just buy the company“. He just smiled.

I took part in some customer presentation where IBM flew in the guys from bowstreet because IBM had no tools for delivering what they promised about smooth intregration of domino apps into wps / workplace. No they have the tools. But they will not earn any money with it, because customers expect IBM to integrate this into the core product.
